Log Week Two
I heard back from my contact at the league of Women Voters late last week, she is really excited to start working with me to create a blog for the league. My contact wants to meet with me sometime this week and then present info to the board for their approval. Dr. Baumann contacted her to invite her to the informational meeting at school to learn more about the course. I will also be attending Thursday morning to learn more about the project. I will then meet with the board on Sat. Morning. I'm really excited and feel a little nervous about not being prepared for any questions I might receive - but I feel confident that this will be a great opportunity for the league to take advantage of, and feel honored that they would let me help them with this project. Next week I will inform the class about some of their questions and concerns - I may need some answers myself!
About the RHAPSODY link: I was messing around with my Rhapsody account and discovered that I could make a blog list - since this is my first blog I wanted to try it out, but if this is not appropriate for class I can take it off. If anyone is interested in listening to it let me know - the playlist contains: Phoenix, M. Ward, My Morning Jacket, Wilco and other favorite bands.

Including the Rhapsody link is fine - as long as we can find your course work and time log on your blog, we're happy with it - feel free to include other content (Rhapsody or whatnot) as you see fit. We may or may not read/follow all that other content though. Please do not be offended if we don't.
I really like My Morning Jacket. I saw them in South Dakota, about six years ago.
A website you might like is pandora.com. It is an internet radio website, but it's sorta special. You create your own radio station by telling pandora what artists you like, and it plays music by them and similar artists. For each song it plays, you tell it whether you liked it or not. The more you listen, the more it learns about your musical tastes. You can also share your customized station with your friends, via email.
